Three ingredients, equal parts, nothing to hide behind. The Negroni is a classic for a reason.
Born in Florence
The story goes that in Florence, around 1919, Count Camillo Negroni asked his bartender to make his usual Americano a little stronger, swapping the soda water for gin. The orange garnish set it apart, and a classic was born.
Done right, here in Crosby
At Elián we keep it the way it should be: gin, Campari and sweet vermouth, stirred over ice and finished with a twist of orange. Bitter, sweet and beautifully balanced, it’s the perfect start to an evening on Liverpool Road.
